Ray Anthony Roxas-Chua III is Incoming CICT Chair
Saturday, August 25th, 2007During the 3 August 2007 opening of the new Accenture office in Cebu City at the Cebu Business Park, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo announced the appointment of Ray Anthony Roxas-Chua III as the new Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT) chairman. “I have already signed the appointment,” said President Arroyo.
Roxas-Chua used to be an executive of Citibank in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. A magna cum graduate of Computer Science at Wharton University, Pennyslavania, Roxas-Chua hails from Samar and is the grandson of sugarcane magnate, Antonio Roxas Chua. He specializes in investment banking and had the rank of a Vice-President by the time he left Citibank.
