AAXS Tuition Free

About

The Alumni Association of Xavier School (AAXS) recently launched “Tuition Free,” a raffle draw to raise funds for AAXS Medical Assistance Program (MAP) and the Fr. Papilla College Scholarship Fund.  Grand prize is Free Tuition to Xavier School (any year level) for SY 2008 – 2009.  The grand prize is transferable, and maybe resold but must be applied for SY 2008 – 2009 tuition fee.  There are also other exciting prizes like iPODs, Mac computers and lifestyle packages.

The project was conceptualized by AAXS Director Media Communications Jonathan Richie Yap of Class 1994, and AAXS Director for Membership and Benefits Joel Dayrit of Class 2000 in line with the association’s emphasis on giving back to their teachers and help its fellow alumni directly.

AAXS MAP was established by AAXS President Dr. Kelly Salvador of Class 1978 to provide “reasonable financial assistance” to those alumni and Xavier faculty and staff undergoing medical treatment.  The program has already provided aid to 5 active and former Xavier School employees.  The Fr. Papilla College Scholarship Fund on the other hand provides tuition fee subsidy to Xavier alumni in their pursuit of college degree.  To date, the program has supported over 20 Xaverians in their pursuit of tertiary education.

Tuition Free Raffle draw will be held on 16 April 2008 at the AAXS Board Room in Xavier School.  Tickets are reasonably priced at P500 each.  For your ticket orders or inquiries, please call the AAXS Office at 7264855 / 7273329 or email tuitionfree@aaxs.com.
