Tuition Free Prizes

Grand Prize for the first ever AAXS Tuition Free Raffle Project is Free Tuition to Xavier School for SY 2008 – 2009. The tuition credit can be applied in any year level (EED, Grade School, or High School) and maybe transferred to another party provided the AAXS is notified in advance. However, the credit must be applied to SY 2008 – 2009 and not later.

Minor Prizes (as of 13 April 2008) include:

People all over the world are fascinated with Chinese tradition. Chinese characters have become cultural icons to convey short and simple anecdotes on life and feelings. This is further highlighted with the Beijing Olympics in China this year, which shall commence on the supposed ultra-lucky day and time of August 8, 2008 at 8:08 PM.

A Corporate Social Responsibility Project

Among the main objectives of AAXS Pres. Kelly Salvador’s administration are to be able to give back to our teachers and help our fellow alumni. As such, Dr. Salvador made medical assistance one of his priority projects and launched the AAXS Medical Assistance Program (MAP) mid-2007. He also wanted to emphasize on education as the key to a bright future (remember the old adage of “teaching someone how to fish rather than just giving him fish?)

With these two criteria in mind, the AAXS recently launched the TUITION FREE Raffle Project to raise funds for these programs. AAXS MAP aims to provide “reasonable financial assistance” to those alumni and Xavier faculty and staff undergoing medical treatment. The program has already provided aid to five active and former Xavier School employees.
